CONCIERTO ECUMÉNICO CATEDRAL DE MÁLAGA

Queridos amigos:

Coincidiendo con el aniversario de la Reforma Luterana, Lux Mundi y la Delegación Diocesana de Ecumenismo, ha organizado una serie de charlas y encuentros que finalizaran con un concierto de órgano el viernes 22 de septiembre de 2017, a las 8:00 de la tarde en la Santa Iglesia Catedral de Málaga, titulado "Melodías de la Reforma". El organista William Whitehead, profesor de la Real Academia de Música y Trinity College of Music de Londres, estará a cargo de hacernos entrar en un diálogo ecuménico con un recital de música de la Reforma a través de JS Bach, J. Pachelbel o H Purcell y la música católica de P. Bruna, Antonio de Cabezón o W. Byrd.

Os invitamos a todos a uniros a nosotros a través de la música en un mismo canto de alabanza a Dios por encima de nuestras diferencias confesionales. También os pedimos que invitéis a los fieles de vuestras parroquias a asistir. Tenemos autobuses desde Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar y Fuengirola, saliendo de ambos lugares a las 16:30 para dar tiempo a disfrutar de la ciudad de Málaga y asistir al concierto.

To commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, Lux Mundi and the Officer for Ecumenism of the Málaga Dioceses have offered various courses and talks about reformation at different premises and parish churches. Among the events scheduled will be an organ concert in the S.I. Cathedral of Malaga, on September 22, 2017, at 8:00 pm, titled "Melodies of the Reformation".

The organist William Whitehead, professor of the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music in London, will be in charge of making us enter into an ecumenical dialogue with a recital of the music of the Reformation through JS Bach, J. Pachelbel or H Purcell, and the Catholic music of P. Bruna, Antonio de Cabezón or W. Byrd.

We invite you all to join us through music in the same song of praise to God despite our confessional differences. We also ask you to invite the faithful of your parishes to come along. We have buses going from Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar and Fuengirola, leaving both places at 16:30 to give people time to enjoy the city of Málaga, have some dinner and attend the concert.
